Travel Guidelines for passengers “Arriving” in Sri Lanka:
All travellers over 12 years of age must present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before your travel to Sri Lanka.
Additionally, recovered travellers may present a negative antigen test taken within 48 hours before travel, instead of a PCR test before boarding. The traveller who has recovered from Covid-19 within the last 3 months and should receive at least 1 dose of vaccine 2 weeks before travel. They should also carry verifiable evidence in English such as a past positive PCR report, positive antigen test report or diagnosis card as proof of past illness.
All travellers will be tested on arrival and the test results will be provided in 24 to 48 hours; hotel facilities cannot be used until the result is confirmed negative.
What are the Covid –19 travel requirements in Sri Lanka?
Passenger Locator form: All Travellers are required to fill out the health declaration form before their departure to Sri Lanka.
Covid-19 Testing Requirements: PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure.
Do children need to be tested? Children below 5 years are exempted from pre-departure testing.
Vaccination Requirements: The vaccines approved in Sri Lanka are Oxford–AstraZeneca, Sinopharm BIBP, Sputnik V, Pfizer–BioNTech, Moderna and Sinovac.
