Travel Guidelines for Passengers “Arriving” in Oman:
All Travellers must present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before your travel to Oman.
If you are Fully Vaccinated:
- You must provide a Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to arrival.
- You must upload Pre-arrival PCR test result and vaccine certificate with QR code through: https://covid19.emushrif.om/
If Omani nationals are non-vaccinated:
- You must provide a Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to arrival.
- You must register through: https://covid19.emushrif.om/
- You must upload a Pre-arrival negative PCR test result with QR code through: https://covid19.emushrif.om/
- You must undergo a PCR test upon arrival.
- You must home quarantine for 7 days.
- You must take a PCR on Day 8.
- In case you are tested positive, residents must quarantine for additional 10 days.

Time for Test Result: within 24 hours
Required for: Pre-departure test, For Business Travel, For Medical, For MICE events or Group Bookings, For Training & Conferences.

ON-ARRIVAL PCR TEST
Time for Test Result: within 24 hours
Required for: Post arrival test for Vaccinated and unvaccinated arrivals.
Includes free fit-to-fly travel certificate
RAPID ANTIGEN TEST
Time for Test Result: within 3 - 6 hours
Accepted for: Employment and Social gatherings
International Travel includes a free travel certificate
What are the Covid –19 travel requirements in Oman?
Passenger Locator form: Before boarding the aircraft, all passengers must complete pre‑registration on the Tarassud+ platform and upload their vaccine certificate as well as their COVID‑19 PCR certificate.
Covid-19 Testing Requirements: All Travellers must present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival.
Do children need to be tested? Children below 18 years are exempted from pre-departure testing.
Vaccination Requirements: The Vaccines approved in Oman are Pfizer BioNTech, Oxford Astrazeneca, Covishield AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Sputnik V, Sinovac, Moderna, Sinopharm and Johnson & Johnson.
* All Non‑Omani passengers above 18 years old who are arriving to the Sultanate are required to present a COVID‑19 vaccine certificate.
