Travel Guidelines for Passengers “Arriving” in Israel:
All Travellers must present a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before departure to Israel OR a negative test result from a Rapid Antigen test taken 24 hours before your travel to Israel.
- All Travellers must take a PCR test upon arrival at the airport and they must quarantine until they receive a negative PCR test result.
- All non-vaccinated Israeli citizens are required to self-isolate for 14 days, but they can end their quarantine early if two consecutive PCR tests are confirmed negative. The first PCR test should be taken on arrival and a second PCR test must be taken on Day 7 of the isolation period.
- Travellers who have recently recovered from Covid-19 will require to present a positive PCR test result taken at least 11 days before and not older than 190 days of departure, or a recovery certificate. They must take a PCR test on arrival and self-isolate for 14 days.

* As on January 9, 2022, vaccinated and recovered non-Israeli tourists from Orange and Green countries may travel to Israel. Travellers from Red list countries are still not permitted entry.

What are the Covid –19 travel requirements in Israel?
Passenger Locator form: All Travellers must fill out the online entry statement 48 hours before arriving in Israel.
Covid-19 Testing Requirements:
- PCR test – valid for 72 hours before arrival.
OR
- Rapid Antigen test – valid for 24 hours before arrival.
Do children need to be tested? Children below 3 years are exempted from pre-departure testing.
Vaccination Requirements: The vaccination approved in Israel are Pfizer, Moderna, Sinopharm, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Bharat Biotech COVAXIN, the Serum Institute of India or Johnson and Johnson vaccines.
*Israel permits entry of those who received the Sputnik-V vaccine but they are also required to undergo additional serologic testing on arrival.
