Travel Guidelines for Passengers “Arriving” in Bangladesh:

All travellers must present a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours before their flight for Bangladesh.

  • Vaccinated Travellers from Armenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Palestine, Romania, Mongolia Serbia, Moldova, Slovenia and Ukraine must undergo a 7‑day home quarantine on arrival. Vaccinated Travellers from countries not mentioned above will not be required to quarantine on arrival.
  • Unvaccinated Travellers from Armenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Palestine, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine must undergo RT PCR testing on the 7th day of quarantine and will be released when they test negative for COVID‑19. Unvaccinated Travellers travelling from countries not mentioned above must undergo a mandatory 14‑day home quarantine.
Bangladesh

Travel Update:

As of 4th December 2021, all Travellers who have transited or visited Botswana, Eswatini, Ghana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe within the last 14 days, will have to undergo 14 days institutional quarantine at government nominated hotels at passenger’s own expenses. RT-PCR test will be carried out on 7th and 14th day of the quarantine and depending on the RT-PCR test result on the 14th day of the quarantine, Travellers with Covid negative results will be released.

Time for Test Result: within 24 hours

Required for: Pre-departure test, For Business Travel, For Medical, For MICE events or Group Bookings, For Training & Conferences.

Includes free fit-to-fly travel certificate

ON-ARRIVAL PCR TEST

Time for Test Result: within 24 hours

Required for: Post arrival test for Vaccinated and unvaccinated arrivals.

Includes free fit-to-fly travel certificate

RAPID ANTIGEN TEST

Time for Test Result: within 3 - 6 hours

Accepted for: Employment and Social gatherings

International Travel includes a free travel certificate

What are the Covid –19 travel requirements in Bangladesh?

Passenger Locator form:  Travellers must submit a health card to the Health Authorities in the arrival hall.

Covid-19 Tests:  All Travellers must present a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours before their flight for Bangladesh.

Do children need to be tested?  Children below 12 years are exempted from pre-departure testing.

Vaccination Requirements:  The vaccines approved are AstraZeneca, Pfizer, BioNTech, Moderna, Janssen (Johnson and Johnson), Sinopharm and Sputnik Covid-19 vaccines.
