Travel Guidelines for passengers “Arriving” in Thailand:
All travelers must present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure to Thailand. New applicants will be permitted to enter Thailand under the Test and Go scheme, Sandbox scheme and Alternate Quarantine (AQ) scheme.
1. Test and Go scheme:
As on 1st February 2022, Travellers from all countries can be Exempted from Quarantine through the Test and Go scheme. Travellers under this scheme will need to take PCR test on Day 1 and Day 5 after arrival in Thailand. If the result is negative on Day 5, Travellers are allowed to travel anywhere in Thailand.
2. Sandbox scheme:
As on 1st February 2022, the Sandbox Scheme area will include Phuket, Krabi, Phan‑Nga, Surat Thani (Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan), Chonburi (Pattaya and some districts) and Trat (Koh Chang).
Fully vaccinated Travellers must take a PCR test on Arrival and undergo a 7‑day quarantine. Travellers who test negative for COVID‑19 can freely go around their destination.
3. The Alternate Quarantine (AQ) scheme:
Vaccinated Travellers must undergo a 7‑night quarantine. They must take a PCR test on Arrival and a second test on Day 8 or 9.
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated Travellers must undergo a 10‑night quarantine. They must also undergo a PCR test on Arrival and a second test on Day 8 or 9.
*Travellers who have recently recovered from Covid-19 will be required to present a positive PCR test result taken at least 14 days before and not older than 90 days of departure, or a recovery certificate. The calculation of 90 days would be from Day 2 of detection after the infection date.
** Insurance with a minimum coverage not less than USD 50,000, which should cover the cost of the treatment and other medical expenses, including in-patient hospitalization for the whole duration of their stay in Thailand. This is not required for Thai citizens who are entitled to the National Health Insurance System.

Required for: Pre-departure test, For Business Travel, For Medical, For MICE events or Group Bookings, For Training & Conferences.

ON-ARRIVAL PCR TEST
Time for Test Result: within 24 hours
Required for: Post arrival test for Vaccinated and unvaccinated arrivals.
Includes free fit-to-fly travel certificate
RAPID ANTIGEN TEST
Time for Test Result: within 3 - 6 hours
Accepted for: Employment and Social gatherings
International Travel includes a free travel certificate
What are the Covid –19 travel requirements in Thailand?
Passenger Locator form: All Travellers must fill out the Thailand Pass registration website before arriving Thailand.
*Passengers travelling to Samui must download Samui Health Plus and Mor Prom APP.
Covid-19 Testing Requirements: PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure.
Do children need to be tested? Children below 6 years are exempted from pre-departure testing.
Vaccination Requirements: The vaccines approved in Thailand are Sinovac, CoronaVac, AstraZeneca or Covishield, Pfizer–BioNTech or Comirnaty, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinopharm or COVILO, Sputnik V, Covaxin.
* All Travellers 18 years and above should get fully vaccinated for COVID-19 at least 14 days before travelling.
