Travel Guidelines for Travellers “Arriving” in Ethiopia:
All travellers must present a negative PCR test result taken within 120 hours or five days before arriving in Ethiopia.
- Unvaccinated Travellers will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering Ethiopia. But if they want to end their isolation, they will be tested with either PCR or Antigen-based RDT test upon arrival.
- Fully vaccinated Travellers with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.

Required for: Pre-departure test, For Business Travel, For Medical, For MICE events or Group Bookings, For Training & Conferences.

Required for: Post arrival test for Vaccinated and unvaccinated arrivals.

RAPID ANTIGEN TEST
Time for Test Result: within 3 - 6 hours
Accepted for: Employment and Social gatherings
International Travel includes a free travel certificate
What are the Covid –19 travel requirements in Ethiopia?
Passenger Locator Form: All Travellers arriving in, departing from or transiting Ethiopia should validate their Covid-19 RT PCR test via the Africa Union Trusted Travel or UNDP Global Haven.
